Rebate Finder

Browse published, source-linked programs for your state.

This directory shows editorially published records, not a live eligibility decision or ZIP-level utility match. Always check the source.

How the rebate finder works

Choose your state to see programs our editors have checked against the official program page. Each listing shows what the program offers, the main conditions, its status, the official source and the date we last verified it. Federal programs appear for every state.

A missing program does not mean no help exists. Programs change often and our list is still growing. Also check your state energy office, your electric and gas utilities, and the DSIRE incentives database.

Before you count on a rebate

  • Read the official rules: income limits, eligible equipment, contractor requirements and deadlines.
  • Check whether you must be approved before you start. For example, California’s HEEHRA program requires an approved reservation before the project begins.
  • Keep copies of quotes, invoices and model numbers.

Frequently asked questions

How current is this data?

Each program shows the date we last checked it against the official program page. We aim to re-check records every one to two months, but programs can change at any time, so confirm with the administrator before you buy.

Why isn’t my state listed?

We add a program only after checking it on its official page, and our list is still growing. Federal programs appear for every state. Until your state is added, check your state energy office, your utilities and the DSIRE database.

Is a listed rebate guaranteed?

No. A listing means the program exists and shows its published terms. Eligibility, funding and approval are decided by the program administrator, and some programs require approval before work starts.
